TESTIMONIALS

• HITACHI “It was lovely to see Jo again in Sefton Park, everyone was very impressed with her speech especially our European colleagues. I cannot wait to show the video to our Talent Management team. Thank you again for lifting our spirits and making us think differently every day, you are truly an inspiration.”

Zerr in Selen, HR Business Partner, UK Ireland, Middle East, Turkey

• HSBC

“Just wanted to thank you for a very enjoyable two days; I usually hate courses and get myself so worked up over having to stand up and present things or get involved in role play that I go into complete panic mode and learn absolutely nothing. The relaxed environment you created was wonderful and for the first time I have actually gone away and remembered things after leaving the course.”

Senior Manager, Corporate Banking Event

• BT

“Once again, thank you for meeting with us yesterday. Your facilitation helped us to get people to talk and put issues out on the table for discussion.”

Head of Diversity, Gender at Work Event

• SHELL

“It was a pleasure to work with you, I really enjoyed yesterday. The feedback we got was amazing, with many employees saying how positive and inspiring you were, how they loved the energy and have lots of good take messages about confidence to take away with them.”

Sarah Stanway, Shell Global Solutions

WHERE IT ALL BEGAN… In 2010, Jo decided to put together a community of women that supported her drive to change the way women are represented in the world. Together today, they work synonymously as they pave the way for a new woman’s global leadership paradigm. Putting together the community was the culmination of many years hard work, testing of the concept and building of a best practice model that served to delight its members. For over twenty years Jo Cameron has been learning, observing and studying women’s leadership styles. Having upheld several senior management positions in the motor industry, it was 2004 when Jo left to become an entrepreneur. It was here Jo was exposed to the world of networking. Whilst she found some value from it, it was here she listened to the requirements other friends in business that sought a safe place for experienced women in business to meet and energise one another, to motivate each other, to challenge current thinking and learn. She discovered that the other women also wanted it all done in a non-pretentious, down-to-earth fashion. OUR VISION AAW is a dynamic fast-growing enterprise inspired to cultivate leadership development and relationship building amongst professional women across all industries. Created by Jo Cameron, it is a hub for learning and connecting with women a shared outlook, to motivate, cultivate and exhilarate. AAW comprises of specially crafted events all over the UK throughout the year and smaller more intimate ‘energising’ meetings every month. Each ‘energizer’ has a different business led topic and is designed especially for you to take away our rich knowledge, resources and expertise. MEETING ETIQUETTE Being a member of AAW is as much as what you bring to the table as what you take away so if you keep this in mind at all times, you will have a fantastic first visit. We ask you to observe our meeting etiquette:

! No selling or pushing out of leaflets

! No over-promotion of what you are doing

! No shoving of business cards into anyone’s hands

! Share positive information, advice or stories you may have that could help others ! Offer compliments to other members

! Support and encourage each other

! Ask for help and support if you need it

! Never communicate anything to others that one could read into negatively or take as a

personal attack

! Never mislead people and never tell lies
