OUR MISSIONFernbank's mission is to ignite a passion for science, nature and human culture through exploration and discovery.

VISITOR INFORMATION• For the safety and comfort of all visitors, Fernbank does not

allow skateboards, roller skates or use of Heelys®. Bikes permitted in parking lot only.

• Fernbank is a nicotine-free campus. Smoking, including e-cigarettes, is not allowed.

• Experiences inside the museum and within WildWoods are ADA accessible. However, Fernbank Forest includes some areas with steep inclines, rugged features and unpaved trails.

Do not enter water features, creeks or pond.

Do not handle or collect natural items or living things.

Outdoor areas are open rain or shine but may be closed in the event of dangerous conditions. (No refunds due to weather conditions.)

Please be aware that it takes 10-15 minutes to walk from the Fernbank Forest gate to the museum.

Fernbank is a nicotine-free environment.

Please note: Some areas of Fernbank Forest feature steep inclines and rugged terrain.
