The Hunterdon County Planning Board is preparing a new Growth Management Plan.

The Hunterdon County Planning Board is preparing a new Growth Management Plan.

The Plan will provide recommendations for growth and preservation based on input from county residents and a regional planning perspective.

Vision21 is the County’s public outreach program to find out how residents want the County to grow in the

21st century.

The result ofVision21 will be a vision statement for our

future.

Vision21

Our master plans are required to have land use

goals. But without an overall context or vision,

there is no assurance that the goals are mutually

compatible. The vision is what all of the goals

should be working towards.

Vision21 consists of

• Public Opinion Survey

• Bus Tour of New Developments

• Internet-based Community Design Survey

• Public Forum to share results of the above activities and create a Vision for our County’s

future

Vision21

The following slides summarize results from our

Public Opinion Survey and Internet Survey.

A complete report describing the results of these surveys,

and a report summarizing public comments from our Bus

Tour can be viewed by visiting our Smart Growth website.

(Please see last slide for website address).
