What is VGT?

VGT is a Virtual Gun Tag Application that can be used with most smart phones that have built in cameras and access to an internet connection (multiplayer and Online-services only).

The game is similar to laser tag, but without using the guns or packs, you use your Smartphone instead.

It uses the latest facial, colour and motion recognition software to enable you and your friends to play this fun and addicting virtual shooter game.

How It Works

When you enter the a multiplayer game from the menu, you have to take a picture of your opponent (Friend) in between the outline area and they have to take a picture of you.

This picture acts as the base for the technology to work as you play the game. The instructional video will help you set up.

The strongest colour from your opponents t-shirt will be calculated and so will there facial structure, allowing for head shots which are worth higher points.

So when you aim and shoot at your opponent, this technology will help determine if you hit your target.

resume button is tapped.

Still zoomed into opponent with your

sights.

The Smartphone fires, the gunshot

sound goes off and the screen flashes .

The opponent flies back out of view screaming as blood sprays out of him.

The actor stands smiling and then shakes his Smartphone to reload, it fades to black

and ends.

A message appears on screen.

the live camera in your smart phone and turns it into a sniper with the help of graphics and

sound effects. 

Pros• You can shoot and reload using the shoot and reload button.

•Change between different aiming sights, reticles and scopes.

•It vibrates and makes gunshot and ricochet sounds.

•It also has a bullet count indicator.

Cons •This is more of a camera app than a game.

•The limited graphics and basic sounds make the app look very amateur. •The app shows some potential but there is room for improvement.

•It has the schematics to become a better game.

Gunman works in a very clever but basic way. It uses colour detection to play the game. The game allows you to choose from the 5 colours, red, blue, green, black and white, after allocating a colour you can now aim the cross hair overlay on the screen at the colour and when you fire and hit the colour then you get a hit, if your aiming at another colour you get a miss.

Gunman can be played in two modes:

Shooting Range: This is where anyone or anything is your target. Specify a colour and fire away. The colour recognition technology tracks hits or misses.

Multiplayer: This is a game that you can play with your friends while using an internet connection. You must already link with your friends Smartphone; here you both can choose number of bullets, lives and duration of the game. Then once the game is set, you choose the colour most similar to your opponents t-shirt and start.

It has a gun store where you can spend the points you earn from completing missions and objectives on other guns. It also has a bank where you can spend real money to get what the currency you use in the game called bankrolls.  At the end of a game and the score is given the screen shots of the hits you’ve scored are taken and the game gives you the option to save to the phone or tweet them.

Cons:• Can play single player but multiplayer with friends is better, so you need to have friends who have the game.•The technology works but could be more accurate, more colours and ways to detect an enemy.• Not much content for the guns, e.g. changeable scopes, reticles and sights.•Internet connection is required, 3g, 4g, or wifi, this works the best as the others may lag.•Limited effects and graphics.

Klik the iPhone AppThis App is linked with Facebook, it automatically recognises you and your friends faces from group photos using you and your friends profiles so you don’t have to individually tag them. As well as the App Facebook has the same system built in.

RecognizeMe iPhone AppThis App works as a security system, it uses your face to unlock your iPhone. The front camera scans your face and when it is correct it allows you to enter. if there is an error with the scanner, they provide you with a PIN number as well so you can never be truly locked out.

Example of various and changeable content like sights, scopes and reticles, these would be purchased from the online store using points that you have collected in the game.

Business Plan

This App would only cost a small amount of £1.99. The App would have an online store where the players can

use points to buy new weapons, items and upgrade them, there would also be special items, premium items that the player would have to purchase using real money through their PlayStore or AppStore accounts.

They would also have a choice to purchase extra In game points for real money, to get the items they desire quicker.

The target audience would be first person shooter fans, these would be males aged 16-28.

Independently budgeted. Additional down loadable content will be provided for a cost,

such as Team Games, Night Vision and Head Shot Mode.
