Richard Branson He is the founder of Virgin atlantic. At the age of sixteen his first business

venture was a magazine called Student. In 1970, he set up a mail-order record business. In 1972, he opened a chain of record stores, Virgin Records, later known as Virgin Megastores. Branson's Virgin brand grew rapidly during the 1980s, as he set up Virgin Atlantic.

Virgin Atlantic Airways Ltd. (running as Virgin Atlantic) is an airline that is based in the United Kingdom. Virgin Atlantic is owned by 2 companies, Virgin Group and Singapore Airlines.

Over 75% of Virgin Atlantic's flights fly from London Heathrow Airport. Most of the rest fly from London Gatwick Airport, Manchester Airport or Glasgow Airport.

Virgin flies to nine cities in the USA, nine cities in the Caribbean, five cities in Africa, five cities in Asia, and to Sydney in Australia.

Financial Accountant Job Purpose: - Supports financial decision-making information by collecting, analyzing, investigating, and reporting financial data.

Responsibilities: - A financial accountant performs different functions than a public accountant. Most financial accountants work directly for companies, performing internal financially-related duties. CPAs who are "public" work for themselves or for accounting firms and perform contracted projects for a variety of organizations. Conversely, financial accountants are typically W-2 employees, working regular hours for one corporation only. They usually prepare internal financial statements, perform management duties and actively contribute to their employer's financial, operations and strategic plans.

Job specification of Financial accountant:-

1. Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance or related field; additional degree a plus.

2. Solid understanding of accounting principles and practices.

3. 2-3 years of related experience preferred.

4. Ability to work effectively with minimal supervision.

5. Proven ability to work effectively as a respected team member in a variety of collaborative situations.

6. Must possess minimum of 3 years professional accounting experience.

7. Ability to use intermediate to advanced functions in spreadsheet software.

8. Knowledge of Visual Basic, Crystal reports, Access and general database management is highly desirable, but not required.

9. Proven ability to juggle multiple priorities, and meet strict deadlines.

10. Demonstrated organizational skills.

11. Proven problem solving, analytical and sound judgment skills.

12. Excellent interpersonal, listening and oral communication skills.
