Expectations Coming In I expected to be working with Excel a
lot. I expected that I would be required to look at and analyze
loads of data since I would be assisting the Finance Team.I had
little to no knowledge of Accounting and Excel so I really did not
have much expectations coming in since I did not know what I was
going to expect in the first place. - Because of this, I thought I
was going to struggle a lot.
Goals I Wanted to AchieveI wanted to learn how to use Excel in a
more proficient manner/get used to its mechanics and see how it is
used in the real world.I wanted to get a better understanding about
Accounting and Finance.I wanted to pick my coworkers brains.Get

monthly sales by state files into one in order to determine what
the full year worth of sales by state were. Updating AOP filesCash

is to make sure quantity of inventory is accurate as stated in
reports.

What I LearnedI have a much better understanding on how to use
Excel.- Thanks to my coworkers, I was able to learn useful
shortcuts in Excel to make the work easier. I understand a bit more
of the Finance world. - Finance work is easy.. This experience made
it easier for me to figure out what exactly I want to do in the
future and how to prepare for it.
