Ore-some Copper Belles WI This month’s meeting saw your members trying out Zumba with Andrea Clayton. There were (a few) moments when the whole group were moving together but we all enjoyed the challenge of dancing routines to different tempos and styles of music. Thanks to Andrea for making us laugh and exercise at the same time. Join us next month on Tuesday 9th July at 7pm in the Middleton Tyas Village Hall for our Spanish cultural evening - test out your Spanish skills and sample typical food and drink with Beverley Lawson. August’s event on Tuesday 13th August at 7pm is Crime Scene Investigation, open to all guests (including men) for a 5.00 charge. We are hoping to put on an afternoon activity for children if we have enough takers, so please get in touch on the email below if you would be interested. Help is also needed at the Bark in the Park Dog Show and Village Fete on Saturday 13th July. Ore-some Copper Belles WI is organising and running the Village Fete Tent which will include stalls for the family: Homemade lemonade. Decorate a cupcake. Decorate a dog themed biscuit. Make a playdough dog. Pin the tail on the dog. Coconut shy. Sweet shop. Face painting Please support at this event or contact us if you would like to bake cakes and biscuits or fill sweetie bags before the event, or to help on the day. All proceeds raised go towards refurbishment of the village play park. If you would like to join our WI please get in touch or you are welcome to come along and participate in one of our events on a trial basis for a small charge. Follow us on Facebook at Ore-some Copper Belles WI. Contact us on:
