Unit 1 Assignment 2 – Film production Vibe productions has been commissioned by ITV 2 to produce THREE prime time TV series to rival the BBC. As the BBC have always lead the way in costume dramas so ITV are commissioning for a new series to be aired in their prime time Sunday evening slot. Undecided on the genre they have asked Vibe Productions to produce 3 promos which cover the genres of Western, Film Noir and Period drama. Each promo will be aired on ITV2.COM with the viewers being asked to pick their favourite production. This production will then be commissioned as a 6-part series which will run from Christmas to the end of January to replace The X Factor. 3 different briefs have been sent to us for you to choose. Each production must have the following elements 1. Shot reverse shot 2. Excellent 180-degree rule filming 3. It must have NO continuity errors 4. The setting and costumes must match that of the genre to the best of your ability 5. The music and sounds must add emotion and effect (do not just add a song for no reason)

Vibe productions has been commissioned by ITV 2 to produce THREE prime time TV series to rival the BBC.As the BBC have always lead the way in costume dramas so ITV are commissioning for a new series to be aired in their prime time Sunday evening slot. Undecided on the genre they have asked Vibe Productions to produce 3 promos which cover the genres of Western, Film Noir and Period drama. All planning and productions must be submitted to ITV 2 by Friday 21st October 2016 (full edited production)with interim deadlines onWeek of Monday 10th October (focus on planning, idea generation and script)Week of Monday 17th October (focus on sound and filming)
