Job DescriptionEvents Fundraising Assistant
Role summary / Purpose of the job
To assist the events managers in the general operational delivery and development of this specific income generating area and to offer administrative support to the wider fundraising team as appropriate.
Key responsibilities and deliverables
To support the Senior Event Manager and Event Manager with all key events Ensure all event materials are prepared and set up on the day ie raffle and auction Liaise with suppliers, comparing costs and ordering materials for fundraising events Responsible for packing up/distributing all auction and raffle prizes post event and
liaising with auction winners. Keep database updated with key event and attendee information Assist with the co-ordination and organisation of event related London Centre/Activity
supporter visits Catalogue and maintain event store cupboard and make sure prizes are labelled and
stored correctly and list is updated. Source prizes - use initiative to compile a list of companies to approach for raffle
/auction items. Address and post out event tickets, organise bikes, cars, collections etc Cover reception when necessary Keep the events team abreast of all upcoming NR events, ie open days, deadlines info
needed for other teams etc Work closely with wider teams including communications to schedule and prepare
Event email announcements Work with the wider team to sign off Nordoff Robbins content in Event Brochures.
Finance & Record Keeping
Issue invoices and keep up to date with records. Check what invoices are outstanding and regularly alert events team to all outstanding
in event team meeting ensure database is kept up to date with all relevant and event related information and
recorded appropriatel

Education/Qualifications
Educated to a Degree Level (Events, Marketing, Communications or other relevant field) Desirable
Knowledge and Experience
Experience using the Adobe creative suite including (Publisher, InDesign, photo shop, Dreamweaver) Desirable
Ability and experience in preparing presentations EssentialExperience working in a team which is working towards achieving income targets Essential
Strong IT skills (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and experience using a database Essential
Experience using social media in a work related setting Essential
Experience working with fundraising volunteers EssentialExperience of working in a charity or other not for profit organisation Desirable

Highly organised and able to multi-task fundraising and administrative duties Essential
