of citizens and the environment over those of corporations. Imagine a government that gives everyone a chance and leaves nobody behind

in a confident and caring Britain. That’s the kind of government we would work for.

This is what Green MPs promise to do for you and the people and places that you love. 

-We will campaign for your right to vote on the final terms of the Brexit deal, including an option to stay in the EU.

-We will push for genuinely affordable, warm homes for everyone and a public health system free for all.

-We will fight for equality, and for a society where nobody is left behind.

-We will always act strongly on climate change and to protect the natural world we love.

-We will stand up for what matters. This is our Green Guarantee to you.

We will tackle the social care crisis by asking the elderly with assets worth over £100,000 to pay for their care.

We will curb immigration by cutting the number of migrants to tens of thousands a year.

We will boost school funding and introduce new grammar schools.

We will build a strong economy. We will build 1.5 million extra homes by 2022. We will raise the age for state pensions. We will reduce taxes for businesses and working families. We will introduce a cap on energy We will on websites to remove extremist material We will boost NHS funding by £8 billion. We will on spend two percent of GDP on defense. We will bring back fox hunting.

This election is about what sort of country we want to be after Brexit. Is it one where the majority are held back by the sheer struggle of getting by? That isn’t the Britain Labour is determined to create. So let’s build a fairer Britain where no one is held back. A country where everybody is able to get on in life, to have security at work and at home, to be decently paid for the work they do, and to live their lives with the dignity they deserve. Let’s build a country where we invest our wealth to give everyone the best chance. That means building the homes we need to rent and buy, keeping our communities safe with more police officers, giving our children’s schools the funding they badly need, and restoring the NHS to its place as the envy of the world. Don’t let the Conservatives hold Britain back. Let’s build a Britain that works for the many, not the few.

We will make all school class sizes under 30 students. We will give £500 p.a. for unpaid carers. We will provide free childcare for all 2-4 year olds. We will stop cuts to women’s refuges. We will abolish university tuition fees. We will build 1 million new homes over the next 5 years, half will be council houses. We will introduce free school meals for all children. We will introduce a living wage of £10 per hour. We will give the NHS £6billion p.a. We will renationalise the railways. We will introduce a fat cat levy on businesses with workers who are paid over £350k p.a. We will introduce a 45p tax rate for people who earn over £80,000 p.a.

“It is official. The Tory Party has become almost identical to the Labour Party. They offer no end to mass immigration, no firm Brexit, no end to spending billions of our hard-earned money on so-called foreign ‘aid’, and they offer no curb on our National Health Service being used as an international drop-in centre. Way back in 2010, Theresa May and her colleagues promised to limit immigration to the ‘tens of thousands’. She’s made the same hollow statement today. But the reality is net immigration has risen by 1.8m since she came into government because they are too gutless to put a legal mechanism in place to achieve it. Theresa’s Tories are merely a continuation of Labour’s incompetence and indifference. We urge our supporters and voters not to be fooled by her.”

Education: We will invest an extra £7bn in education. We will oppose grammar schools.

Economy: We will double innovation and research spending.

Environment: We will increase green electricity to 60% by 2030.

Families: We will build 300,000 homes a year by 2022. We will extend free childcare to all two-year-olds.

Human rights: We will reduce inequality, fight discrimination and protect freedom.

International: We will suspend arms sales to countries with poor human rights records.

Electoral system: We will give 16- and 17-year-olds the right to vote in elections and referendums.
