Officer Selection ManualTo: Officer Candidates & ParentsFrom: Ms. Romberger, FFA AdvisorRe: 2014 Officer Selection Process

Dear Student and Parents,

Thank you for your interest in serving as an officer in the Cumberland Valley FFA Chapter. Taking initiative to apply for an officer position is the first step in the process to leading your peers and I commend you for you for taking this important step! However, serving as an officer is an added responsibility to your FFA membership and will require more time and dedication outside of scheduled class time. In order to effectively serve others, you will need to give of yourself for the betterment of the chapter.

This Officer Selection Manual outlines the requirements, deadlines, and important dates for this year’s officer candidates. In order to adequately plan for the Officer Election Process, it is imperative that you adhere to stated deadlines and recognize date conflicts (if any) as early as possible to allow the process to run smoothly. Should you have any questions about how to complete applications, please do not hesitate to contact me. I look forward to working with you throughout this process and wish you the best as you begin your journey to FFA leadership.

Sincerely,

Darla RombergerFFA Advisor & Agriscience InstructorCumberland Valley High School
