Description

The Savant VOM-SV02 is a multi-window video processing output module, with two outputs. Each output generates a tile that can be positioned and sized by the user with the Savant TrueControl™ app.

In a Savant SmartMediaPro system, the VOM-SV02 enables video tiling functionality. Up to nine video tiling views can be shown in a single display.

The VOM-SV02 includes two integrated broadcast-quality video processors, and switches both video and audio in a single chassis using both HDMI™ inputs and output ports.

The VOM-SV02 features integrated audio and video switching for easy source selection.

The VOM-SV02 supports intuitive user interfaces automatically configured to various window layouts using Savant’s award winning design and configuration software, RacePoint Blueprint™.

The VOM-SV02 is included with the SmartMediaPro solution sets—SVT-004T, SVT-006T, or SVT-009T—and can be added to an existing Savant SmartMediaPro system to enable SmartView Tiling.

SmartView Tiling Design ConsiderationsWhether you are configuring a four-tile layout, six-tile layout, or nine-tile layout, Savant recommends you install VOM-SV02 modules in numerical slot order, that are next to each other. This placement order would be applicable to an SSP-0600, SSP-1200, SSP-2400, or SSP-3600.

The next figure shows an example of a SmartView Tiling design with eight video source inputs connected to an SVT-006T, a TV display with six windows, and an iPad® providing a TrueControl™ app used to select tiles on the TV display. The SmartView Tiling host (Savant Host) can be an On-Screen Display (OSD) host—that is, user interface server (HST-XXXX or SVR-XXXX).
