thelastditch,youknow,rollofthedice,totrytodealwiththeulceraAvecoliAsthatIwasdealingwith.ButmymotherhadbeendiagnosedwithceliacdiseaseandawholecomplexofinterrelatedautoimmunecondiAons,lupus,rheumatoidarthriAs,Sjogren's,andnow,whenwekindoflookback,that'ssupercommon.

Robb:2000,2001.So,IendedupcofoundingthefirstCrossFitaffiliategymsintheworldandworkedwithCrossFitHQforanumberofyearsandso,I'vebeenreallyluckytobeatkindofthegroundfloorlevelofalotoftheseIguess,kindofmovementsthathavereallyarguablychangedtheworldthatweliveininalotofkindofways.So,veryfortunateinthatregard.
Andthen,Idon'tknowwhybutatareasonablyyoungagelikeinmyearly20s,IkindofsatdownandIthought,whataretheselike,bigpicturegoverningconceptsthathelpyouunderstandtheworld.AndI,formyself,Ikindofboileditdowntoeconomics,evoluAon,andwhatIwouldcalllikethermodynamics,youknow.

Robb:Youknow,inthefirstbook,ThePaleoSoluAon,IhadmaybeaparagraphrelatedtotheneuroregulaAonofappeAteandImademenAontothenoAonslikeadiponecAnandlepAnandghrelin,thesethingsregulateourappeAteandifweeatinacertainwaythenitcanimproveoursaAetyanditcanmakeiteasierforustobesuccessful.Butitwasreallylikeinaside.
