CONTROL CHECKS:

• Site inspections (or safety interactions) should be completed to ensure SWMS are being complied with and hazards are identified and controlled.

• Risk controls in other SWMS relevant to the work area (for example, when working near water, near railways) should be considered.

• These safety risk controls shall be implemented at worksites and discussed and reinforced at inductions and pre-start meetings and documented in the traffic control site record.

• Where additional controls are implemented to address site specific risks, they must be documented in the traffic control site record.

• SWMS must be made available for inspection or review (where the work is being undertaken).

• Anyone found to work outside the updated and reviewed SWMS will be advised to stop work and will be re-inducted into the SWMS.

• If any incident occurs on site, the relevant SWMS will be reviewed and amended accordingly. I certify that the attached SWMS has been reviewed by me and is endorsed for compliance with WorkCover Guidelines for the preparation of SWMS and is approved for use
