Verein Deutscher Zementwerke e.V.Research Institute of the Cement Industry

Synergies gained from current research and expertise

VDZ-service portfolio „Concrete and mortar“Synergies gained from current research and expertise

For more than 125 years the Verein Deutscher Zementwerke e.V. (VDZ) has been contributing with its re-search both to competitive and envi-ronmentally compatible cement pro-duction and to the development of high-quality concrete constructions.

Our interdisciplinary team is available to you, offering consulting and sta-te-of-the art expert advisory services

regarding the production of concre-te and mortar. VDZ and its Research Institute offer the complete range of services starting from all established test methods as well as advisory ser-vices up to complex expert’s reports. The combination of state-of-the-art research and competent services re-sults in synergies which are reflected in a high quality and practical relevan-ce of our work.

In the certification process, we offer the services of a „DGNB auditor”:

Consulting the project participants in view of the DGNB criteria du-ring the planning phase

Supervision during the construc-tion phase with respect to the DGNB certification

Conducting the final sustainability audit: inspection and assessment of all relevant project documents

Collecting the specimens on the construction site, carrying out the testing of hardened concrete (par-ticularly compressive strength)
