"DESIGN AND FABRICATION OF AMPHIBIAN VEHICLE (AV)".Team leader : Vinta Chandra Sekhar Reddy Team size : 5 membersDuration : 4 months This is to present a model "Amphibian Vehicle (AV)" is a concept of vehicle that can be put forward for the purpose of commercialization, especially in the field of military, cargo and rescue mission. The AV has the capability to run on land and water both. It is engine powered
vehicle which is boat shaped structure consisting of wheels to roll and skirt to float on water for buoyancy and is propelled by two fan blades which is fixed at other end of boat. Direction of boat can be determined by fluctuation to the fins attached to fan. This project successfully demonstrates the dual benefits for the working efficiently which makes it able for transportation and rescue mission. It is habitual vehicle which compensates the vehicle for both land and water makes it hybrid. Thrust produced by the air through fans will be counted, making vehicle a smooth ride. There is a negligible chance of getting stuck of blades of fans like other boats because installation of fans is done above the board which adds a special feature to AV.
