hirvan Villa

Situated in the Damavand mountains, 25 kilometers Northwest of Tehran, this villa is set on 2200 Sqm site with 45 degree slope at an altitude of 1300 meters. It is located at a tourism spot on the road to ImamzadeDavoud’s shrine. Initially there were three built platforms as the bedrock for the foundation of the villa. This is a four storey villa with the master bedroom. located on the entrance level, and on the lower storey two bedrooms and living area, and under this storey 220 Sqm dining area for parties and other occasions. Also a gym, swimming pool and sauna are designated for the lowest storey of the villa.

This building is characterized by two folding surfaces; one axis aligned to the road line and the other to the topographical and view line, con�iguring the plan of the villa into a trapezoid. Sandstone boulders found on the site form the rough retaining walls that anchor the house to its natural setting. These sandstone walls contrast dramatically with the sophisticated c-shaped white wall wrapping the villa. This villa consists of one master bedroom, two bedrooms, a swimming pool, sauna and a gym. Balconies that surround the building create a wide view of rocky mountains.

Bane is a city near the border of Iran and Iraq that due to the increasing business between the countries after Saddam’s downfall, reformed to a major commercial center. The Municipality of Bane imposed a design competition for a commercial center, and the present design won the �irst prize. This design consists of three independent structures extended along the site line. Large surfaces are installed on the exterior; in some places these combine, fold and create the entrance, walls and advertising billboards.

Situated in Ilam province, Dareshahr is a small city that due to the existing oil sources is transforming to a signi�icant spot for oil re�inery. Iranian Tourism Development Corporation Center launched a hotel design competition in order to satisfy the demand to accommodate engineers and technicians of oil corporations. This design gained �irst ranking in the competition and was presented to the contractor for construction. The main formal concept of the building are the semicircular wings that rise from the ground and merge around the accessing area axis. foundation.

This three star hotel is in the prairies of Caspian Sea that hosts a number of seasonal tourists every year. The main concept of design was enforcing inclined rectangles into the earth that is atypical of modernist designs. The greenery continues on the roof of the building. The building is designed to provide an overlook to the sea for most rooms. Also to cover the exterior a texture of trees was designed that imitated the luscious nature of the area.
