PERSONAL INFORMATION:
I am interesting in living conditions of our built environment and how architecture of ordinary has a tendency to sacrifice convenience for the sake of economy. This sacri-fice lead to a tension, made more prevalent by observing the dichotomy of high design and standard buildings, specifically how relationship should be complimentary, stimu-lating the generation of conveniences for inhabitant. While design magazines and awards highlight isolated cases of architecture perfection, the ordinary is what interests me. I constantly search and starve for design catering to the ordinary instead of exam-plifying the elite extraordinary.

How can Asia accommodate two thirds of the world population in the next 50 years when more than half of the total population will be living in the urban areas? Particularly, in ASEAN countries, the projection of urbanization is upward. High Density pressure, low quality of housing, land shortage, traffic congestion, lack of green space and urban sprawl will put a great pressure on the main cities in each of the coun-tries. Likely, Phnom penh, the capital of Cambo-dia, will be facing the same problems. “Re-thinking Urban Housing” will offer better alternative living units in dense cities. Many amenities such as inviting communal spaces, vertical urban farms, interactive corridors, mini-mart and sky park, are proposed to encourage social interaction, leisure, recreation and to generate some profit. Therefore, “Re-thinking Urban Housing” is the most visionary solution to those aforementioned challenges of rapid urbanization in Phnom Penh and The ASEAN country as a whole.

COMMUNITY DESIGN
PUBLIC LIBRARYDESIGN CONCEPT
library design aims to integrate the buoyant cultural aspect of the zone, and transform that into well defined spaces within the building. It will be amalgamated to the auditerium next door, even sharing programs and events, along with a 100 seat theater inside the library itself. In addition a large balcony will be protruding into the famed square. One of the important factors in designing this structure was eco-friendliness. Features like intelligent sun shading systems and unique windows that respond to outer climatic conditions have been incorporated. Also green architectural concepts such -passive solar heating and natural lighting has been proficiently taken in.

1000 ETERNAL LOOPDESIGN CONCEPT
Inspiration of cambodia belief in flow of life, re-born after their dead. The flow is never end. The program is inspired from the daily life; we born to learn and when we works, and the end of the day we got the product. The main idea is to remind people that life is important and we should value it every second we have.

PROJECT : URBAN PLANINGSITE : PHNOM PENHSTUDIO : ARCHITECTURE DESIGN 6
DESIGN CONCEPT
In my opinion the present site does not have a proper planning strategy; which leads to improper habitation, poor working conditions, negative environmental and traffic congestion. I define improper habitation as: a house which just passed by without emotional attached that refer to communal space, activities between neighbourhood and daily necessity should be included to make the building more active. Poor working condition required a better of both architecture and environment such as open green area near the working zone in order to recharge both the physical and mental strength of the workers for a better output and health. Architecture of the factory should be well designed by maximizing the required amount of fresh air and light to the building. Working area should be clear and clean based on the safety mode. While most of the factories dispose of their waste into the river that contain poisoning chemical, resulting in water pollution, dead marine life and affect people who use this polluted water for fishing and working the polluted water. To overcome that problem, all the disposed was must be discharge into the artificial pound for the purification. After a few steps treatment, the purified water discharge in two line; one directly to the river, another one go to the other artificial pound to store and share for public use.

URBAN PLANING
SITE PROPOSALFor the design proposal, there are 4 main ideas. One is proposed new urban structure for a better use of land resource and infrastructure. It is a good opportunity for the inner district public transportation and reduced the traffic jams. Two, Proposed new highway located between city and wetland that connects from Phnom Penh to Ta Kmao to reduce the traffic flow on the national highway 2 and divide the wetland and the city. And Create pedestrian city to encourage people to walk and not to own car. Three, Integrated commercial and residential into single neighbourhood making a mix use community. Functionally mix city allow great services and improve social. Four, Increase value of the wet land that use for agriculture and reserve Tumpun Lake for water reservoir and to prevent from flood.Overall aim of half sustainable urban develop-ment is to achieve a healthy and improve quality of life. For people in this and next generation with equitable and geographically balance and improve neighbourhood social, which reduces the impact of the global and local environment.

DESIGN CONCEPT
PROJECT : RESORT HOUSESITE : SIHANOUK VILLESTUDIO : ARCHITECTURE DESIGN 4
DESIGN CONCEPT
Chak Angre Housing-Parking is a part of walking city’s strategy for liberating urban space by evacuating car in to parking structure. The design is intend to create an all parking structure above and below ground but due to the location has a major flood issue, there is no underground parking. It devised into to two parking for residential and business district. The second option was to make a parking base-ment with the a housings above. Architect proposes to combine parking, housing and retail in a single hybrid structure. By gathering people occupancy above the parking, the exterior of the building is transformed from a dead parking facade into a living building with open wall for better ventilation and view. And with the inhabited terraces and courtyard in front of the building.
