Leader: Now that we have purified ourselves by obeying the truth,

People: We have a sincere love for our brothers and sisters, we love deeply from the heart.

Leader: For we have been born again, not of perishable seed, People: But of imperishable, through the living and enduring word of God. Leader: All people are like grass and all their glory withers, People: But the word of the Lord endures forever.

Leader: So we rid ourselves of all malice and all deceit, People: We rid ourselves of all hypocrisy, envy, and slander of every kind.

Leader: Like babies we crave pure spiritual milk, People: So that we may grow up in our salvation now that we have tasted that the Lord is good.
