SKIING Located in the Savoy Region of the majestic French Alpes, Val d’Isere is one of the world’s largest and most famous ski resorts. Dare to join a limited number of people and ski the Olympic slopes of Val d’Isere in the tracks of Jean Claude Killy! Val d’Isere offers enough challenge to make this region the favorite of accomplished skiers, yet the wide-open, rolling slopes make it all seem easy. It is literally possible to ski day after day without taking the same run for a second time. There is easy-to-intermediate skiing high on the Solaise and Bellevarde complex, but the long, tough route back down to Le Laisinant is for experts only. Enjoy Espace Killy and from Val d’Isere to Tignes for many hours and miles of skiing. Plus top notch Apre Ski. HOTEL The Hotel Altitude*** is a ski-in/ski-out chalet-style hotel is located near the Face de Bellevarde ski slope and has a warm and homely atmosphere. At the foot of the Olympic gondola, the Altitude has an excellent ski-in, ski-out position, 3 minutes' walk (300m) across the slopes from the village center. Guests can enjoy traditional cuisine in the Altitude’s restaurant, and relax with an evening drink in the lounge by the fireplace. There is also a large south-facing terrace. The rooms, adorned in beautiful woodwork, are comfortably spacious and have a balcony with lounge chairs and a mountain view. Rooms are also equipped with TV, telephone and full baths. There is free Wi-Fi in the public areas of the hotel. ATHENS, GREECE - After a full week of skiing, head to the Athens, the capital city of Greece. Athens is the city with the most glorious history in the world, a city worshipped by gods and people, a magical city. The enchanting capital of Greece has always been a birthplace for civilization. It is the city where democracy was born and most of the wise men of ancient times. Athens is home of the Acropolis and dates back to the 5th BC, the famous Golden Age of Periklis. And Athens by night totally changes. The options for entertainment satisfy all tastes. The famous "bouzoukia" are the leaders in the Athenian entertainment. While the numerous theaters all around Athens offer a different type of entertainment. Whether you spend your time visiting ruins, going to museums, shopping, dining or enjoying the fabulous nightlife, your time in Athens surely will be enchanting!

Space Availability All spots on this trip will be filled on a first come - first served basis and are secured ONLY with payment of the initial deposit of $1,200 per person ($1,458 for Athens ext.). Trip participants must also become a paid member of the club for the 2018/2019 season once member enrollment opens on 7/1/2018. In the past these trips have sold out very quickly, so don't delay. A waiting list will be formed, if necessary. Payment Policy You can pay by check or money order payable to the AE Ski Club. Sorry, we don’t accept credit cards. Checks returned as unpaid by the bank will be assessed a $20.00 fee per occurrence. The following payment plan has been set up:

• Deposit of $1,200 due upon registration ($1,458 if Athens extension is chosen) • Final payment of $1,210 due October 1, 2018 ($1,459 if Athens extension is chosen) • Membership fees for 2018/2019 (enroll/ re-enroll online @ www.AEskiclub.com)

Trip insurance is highly recommended upon sign-up. If you need to cancel, you must provide written notice to the trip leaders. Charges will apply (per person) based upon the date of receipt of written cancellation notice:

Every effort will be made to substitute from the waiting list (if there is one) for anyone who must cancel, but cannot guarantee a replacement. Any questions about the cancellation policy should be directed to your trip leaders. Changes in the itinerary will result in a $100 change fee, plus any additional charges as a result of the change, if the change is possible.

A. Limitation of Liability. The AE Ski Club is released of all liability for any action related in any way to this Agreement or to the services specified on the addendum(s) attached hereto shall be the full amount paid to AE Ski Club or its passengers related to this Agreement. B. Indemnity. Group agrees to indemnify and hold harmless AE Ski Club from all costs, claims, liabilities, fees, attorney fees, and obligations (a) relating in any way to any act or omission of any person in or associated with the Group, (b) relating to any claim by any Group Member, or any person associated, affiliated or related to any Group member against AE Ski Club or its officers, employees, agents, or affiliates, except as to AE Ski Club’s active negligence and intentional misconduct. AE Ski Club agrees to indemnify and hold harmless Group from all costs, claims, liabilities, fees, attorney fees, and obligations related to harm caused by AE Ski Clubs negligence or intentional misconduct. Group agrees to be expressly and solely responsible for any damage or injury caused or suffered by any Group member, or any person associated, affiliated, or related to any Group member. C. Waiver. I agree that neither AE Ski Club nor its affiliates, nor its or their volunteers, employees or agents, shall be liable for any damage, loss (including personal injury, death and property loss), inconvenience or expense occasioned by any act or omission of any supplier providing services, or of any other person, or by any change in itinerary, unless caused by the negligence of AE Ski Club or its affiliates or their employees or agents in the contractual duty. No person other than a representative of AE Ski Club authorized by a document in writing, is permitted to vary, add or waive any term or condition in this Agreement, including any term or condition set forth in the preceding provisions. D. Acknowledgment of Risk. I understand and agree that travel involves the risk of delays, inconveniences, cancellations, thefts, terrorism, crimes, and mechanical problems, as well as the risk of injuries. I accept responsibility for these risks for myself and my family. I understand and agree that such risks are not in AE Ski Club’s control, and agrees that AE Ski club nor its board members will be responsible for any harm or injury relating to such risks.
