• World War II: 12/07/1941 - 12/31/1946

• Korean Conflict: 06/27/1950 - 01/31/1955

• Vietnam Era: 02/28/1961 - 05/07/1975* 02/28/1961 – 08/05/1964 for veterans who

served “in country”

Medical:

Need to be in a protected environment:

105% of income = max. benefit

Assets:

How much is too much? It depends.

“If a claimant’s assets are sufficiently large that the claimant could live off these assets for a reasonable period of time, deny pension for excessive net worth.”
