John’s Island Club to Host 2015 U.S. Mid-Amateur

Mark your calendars! The 2015 U.S.G.A Mid-Amateur

Championship will take place October 1-8, 2015.

This will be a MAJOR golf event in the history of

John’s Island, and a chance for the Club to show off

the spectacular West Course, North Course and

practice facilities to the golfing world. This is the first for the John’s Island Club

as well as the state of Florida!

The schedule calls for 264 national qualifiers to play practice rounds on the

West and North Courses, then play the official 36 holes of qualifying – one

round on the West, one on the North – on Saturday and Sunday, October 3 & 4.

After the qualifying rounds, the field will be cut to the low 64 players, who then

will begin Match Play on the West Course on Monday, October 5. The 36-hole

Championship Match will be played on Thursday, October 8.

John’s Island Is Truly The Place To BeOur company is very proud of our recent nominations in two categories

“Best Website” and “Best Print Marketing” at the recent Who’s Who in

We would also like to thank our fellow John’s Island Club member, George

This past week, more than 150 friends attended the Club’s 3rd annual

“Friends Weekend”, making this the most successful Friends Weekend ever.

This fun-filled event showcases golf clinics, tennis mixers, fitness activities, wine

John’s Island is truly the place to be, and this year has proven that. We’ve

seen an increase in sales volume of nearly 123% and a decrease in

average age of buyers, who are in their 50’s. Year-to-date, John’s Island Real
