Join us Wednesday, November 18, 5:30 PM to 7:00 PM, in the Main Rotunda of the State Capitol as we say thank you to Vince! The event is free to attend, and complimentary beverages and hors d'oeuvres will be provided.

Meet the SBA Class Representatives. . . 

For the next several weeks, the SBA will be introducing you to the Class Representatives for each section, this week meet: 

2L Regular Division Class Representatives  

Jillian Kochis   

     

 Matthew Konya  

 

Jillian M  Kochis,  is  a  2013  graduate  of  Temple  University  in  Philadelphia where she majored  in Sociology and Criminal Justice.   She  is originally from Scranton, PA.  She was an intern at the Lackawanna County Public Defender’s Office  for  four  years  before  recently  becoming  a  legal  intern  at  the Cumberland County District Attorney’s Office.    In addition to being a 2L RD Class  Representative  for  the  SBA,  Jillian  is  also  a  Mentor  in  the Mentor/Mentee Program.    Jillian has a strong passion  for Criminal Law but she  also  has  an  interest  in  Property  and  Family  Law  as well.    As  a  Class Representative,  Jillian hopes  to encourage students  to get  involved outside of  the  classroom  and  to network with  fellow  students, professors,  alumni, and practicing lawyers at events hosted by Widener Law Commonwealth and the SBA. 

Matthew  Konya  is  a  2010  alumnus  of  The  Pennsylvania  State University where  he majored  in  Criminal  Justice.   He  is  originally  from  the  Pocono region of Pennsylvania.   During his summer as a 1L, Matthew  interned at the Perry County District Attorney Office.  As a law student at Widener Law Commonwealth,  Matthew  is  involved  in  the  Student  Bar  Association.  Matthew is interested in pursuing health or criminal law after graduating.
