    Bachelor's Degree A bachelor's degree from a regionally accreditedinstitution in the United States or a comparabledegree from a foreign academic institution. TheGraduate and International Admissions Center(GIAC) will determine eligibility for admission inconsultation with prospective graduate programs.

    3.0 GPAupper-division

    A grade point average of at least 3.0 (on a 4.0scale) or comparable grade point average in upper-division work (junior- and senior-level courses) andin any graduate work already completed.

    The Educational Testing Service (ETS) code for TheUniversity of Texas at Austin is 6882. Test scoressent to this code are made available to all graduatedepartments. TOEFL scores over two years oldwill not be accepted. Other test scores morethan five years old will not be accepted. Onlytest scores mailed directly from the testingagency are considered official.
