“I’VE STILL GOT QUESTIONS ABOUT GOING DIGITAL.

LET'S TALK.”

WE’VE GOTANSWERS.

LET’S TALK ABOUT A FEW FUNDAMENTAL ISSUES FIRST.

We’re talking about your future—and thatdeserves careful consideration and discussionwith a partner willing to listen. We’ve given thisa lot of thought and are happy to share ourunderstanding and experiences with you.

Digital cinema is here. So, let’s talk. Let’s figureout how we can make your decisions clearer andyour transition easier. Let’s see how we cantailor a KODAK Digital Cinema Solution to fitinto your operations—and your future.

IN MORE WAYS THAN YOU MIGHT IMAGINE.

It can let you play a fuller range of content. Bringnew impact to your advertisers. Delight youraudiences. Use your staff more productively.Create new sources of revenue. Automate isolatedfunctions. Reduce redundancies. Provide morepeace of mind. And let you explore additionalopportunities that you’ll find as you become moreexperienced with digital technology.

The KODAK Digital Cinema Solution makes it allpossible, and simple. The Kodak System handles afull range of content: from 3D JPEG features to 2DMPEG documentaries and everything in between.Plus, alternative events and targeted pre-shows.You can play all content—the right mix ofentertainment—for your audience.

And, so much can be automated. Digital contentand keys can be centrally loaded, migrated, andscheduled automatically—directed by yourticketing/point-of-sale system. Curtains can open, lights can dim, masking can change, projectorscan start and stop, all seamlessly, consistently.

From your office, you can have an overview, viayour desktop computer, of what’s playing on whichscreen. The KODAK Digital Cinema Solution isdesigned to help you be right where you need tobe: in control of your business.

“I’M IN THE BUSINESS OF KEEPINGMY THEATRE FULL AND MYAUDIENCES HAPPY. HOW CANDIGITAL HELP ME DO THAT?”

THAT DEPENDS.

Standalone digital systems can be complex becauseeverything is handled separately. The digital print—with trailers—arrives from the digital depot, on ahard drive or via satellite. The decryption keys comein from the Network Operations Center (NOC).

In the cinema, content and keys are matchedand ingested into content players. Additionaltrailers and pre-show programming—arrivingseparately—are also loaded.

The KODAK Solution makes everything moreautomated. And more manageable.

Kodak provides a full solution—networkedhardware, software, service, and support—allunder the control of the KODAK TheatreManagement System (TMS).

The Kodak TMS is designed to be a control centerfor your cinema. It takes direction from yourticketing/pos system. And it provides operationalefficiencies, incremental pre-show opportunities, and the ability to program your screens moreflexibly—with 2D or 3D content. Digital contentand keys are received, loaded, and stored—automatically—waiting for instructions from yourticketing system. Once the schedule is loaded, the TMS migrates, stages, schedules, and playsthe full presentation—including the pre-show—on the right screens, at the right times.

And the entire network can be backed by serviceand support from Kodak.

“SOUNDS COMPLEX. HOW DOES IT ALL WORK?”

“THIS IS HARDLY AN EASY DECISION.HOW QUICKLY DO I NEED TO DECIDEABOUT SWITCHING TO DIGITAL?”

THE SOONER YOU START, THE SOONER YOU START LEARNING.

Major studios and other distributors are releasingmost movies digitally. Alternative cinema enter-tainment is growing in diversity and availability.Several major suppliers are producing digitalcinema pre-shows. So, content is available.

If you start by converting at least half the screensin any complex, you’ll have the flexibility to movedigital prints as you move film today. And, if youstart with Kodak, you’ll have a system to growwith as your needs expand.

Kodak has taken a “building block” approach, designing its system from the ground up, provingevery step before moving on. Today, Kodak offers

a full solution for a full presentation—pre-show,trailers, features, alternative content—now in useon screens in the world marketplace.

And because the KODAK Solution is networkedand driven by the KODAK Theatre ManagementSystem, it provides efficiencies and connectivitythat aren’t possible with standalone alternatives.

If your concern is obsolescence, consider this: theKODAK System is software-based; updates canbe provided easily and even loaded automatically.

There may be no right time to start, but there is aright company to start with: Kodak.

WE’RE IN THIS TOGETHER.

Let’s be honest: Payback should be shared amongexhibitors, studios, and others, including everyonewho benefits from use of the system.

But if you’re simply replacing your analog systemwith its standalone digital counterpart, withoutrethinking your business, you’re limiting yoursavings and sources of new revenue.

Talk to Kodak about how you can—and should—bethinking differently.

If you invest in a KODAK Digital Cinema Solution, you have far more options. Because, with Kodak, digital is not just an investment, it’s an opportunityfor more profitable operations.

n The KODAK Theatre Management System, which drives the KODAK Solution, providesautomation and connectivity so you can useyour staff more efficiently

n The digital pre-show capability included withthe KODAK Solution provides new sources ofadded revenue you can use for system payback
