Turning your iPhone On and Off

1. Hold the Sleep/Wake button to turn on. 2. Hold the button. Then swipe across the

screen to turn off.

Navigation

1. Tap the screen to select an app or

option. 2. Press the Home button to go back to the

main screen.

Changing the Volume

1. Press the top button to increase

volume. 2. Press the bottom button to decrease

volume.

Turning the Ringer On and Off

1. The Ringer switch clicks back and forth. 2. Pull the switch toward you to turn the

ringer on. 3. Push the switch away from you to turn

the ringer off.

Charging your iPhone

1. Insert the charging cable into the hole

on the bottom of the phone.

Making a Call: Stored Phone Numbers

1. Tap the Phone app.

2. Tap the Favorites tab. 3. Tap the name of the person you would

like to call.

Making a Call: A New Phone Number

1. Tap the Phone app. 2. Tap the Keypad tab.

3. Dial the number. 4. Press Call.
