    The World Snowboard Day is a unique opportunity to promote the

    snowboard acvity and open the winter sports season.

    The World Snowboard Day will enable the masses, from beginners

    through experts of all ages, discover for free the snowboard culture and

    experience the excitement of snowboarding during one day in many

    internaonal snow resorts.

    The World Snowboard Day federates all the actors of the international

    snowboard scene! Snowboard federations, brands, snow schools, resorts,

    shops, associations, clubs, environmental organizations and passionate

    riders.

    Founded in 1999, EuroSIMA is the European boardsports industry manufacturers as-

    sociation. Its objective: to federate, defend, educate, promote and contribute to the

    development of surng, skateboarding and snowboarding with true boardridingspirit. In 2006, EuroSIMA joined forces with the WSF (World Snowboard Federation)

    to create an international celebration day dedicated to the promotion of snowboar-

    ding and to unite all the actors of the snowboard scene in the world and participate

    together in the dynamism of local life.

    The WSF or World Snowboard Federation was formed in 2002, by delegates of the

    snowboard community from 14 nations. The WSF is the only international non-

    prot organization exclusively working to develop and taking care for the sport of

    snowboard at all levels including, competitions and education, disable and adaptive

    snowboarding, snowboard activities for riders of any age. The WSF has joined the

    World Snowboard Day since its rst edition.

    The Outdoor Sports Valley was created at the beginning of 2010.The aim of the

    association is to bring together, represent and contribute to the outdoor sports

    industry development. Based in Annecy, France, in the heart of a unique outdoorplayground, and of the head oces of most of the companies of the sector, it covers

    the sweep of the Alps from Grenoble to Innsbruck. Working closely with EuroSIMA

    on many projects, the association decided without hesitation to contribute to the

    development of the World Snowboard Day.

    mean of promotion.

    As the format of your event

    evolves, you can go back on

    your program and modify it

    anytime you need. This year,

    you have the possibility to download your logo and a web banner on your prole.

    It is important to register early and regularly update your program to enhance your

    communication and guarantee a higher onsite attendance.

    STRENGTHENYOURCOMMUNICATION

    Each organizer registered in the World Snowboard Days program will receive a communica-tion package composed of posters, stickers, postcards and banners.

    A white section at the bottom of the posters will enable you to communicate the program and

    venue of your event in your area.

    It is important to stick up these posters in all local stores, snow shops, tourists info points, cityhall, and any place which generates trac... in order to assure maximum attendance on your

    event.

    Beyond the work done by the WSD team, it is useful to inform the local Medias of the activities

    you will oer, your program, the site of the event...

    A press kit and press releases can be downloaded on www.worldsnowboardday.com.

    Do not forget to inform and involve your usual partners in the event: clubs associated in the

    event, local communities, private partners, etc...

    The earliest you will associate them to the event, the

    easiest it will be to get some help from them.

    First step to become an organizer of the World Snowboard Day, go to the

    www.worldsnowboardday.com website.

    A section is especially dedicated to you. Click on WEBSITE, on the right

    side there is ORGANIZER MANAGE YOUR EVENT section.

    In this section, click on REGISTER, and ll in the online registration form

    and click on CREATE MY ACCOUNT.

    When we receive your registration, the WSD team will validate it and acti-vate your program on www.worldsnowboardday.com.

    YOU ARE NOW ONE OF THE WORLD SNOWBOARD DAY ORGANIZERS AND ALL THE

    INFORMATION ON YOUR ORGANIZATION AND YOUR INITIATIVES ARE LISTED

    ON WWW.WORLD-SNOWBOARD-DAY.COM.

    Once your registration is validated, the WSD team will get in touch with you to help

    you coordinate your actions. We will give you the contacts of other actors of your

    area participating in the World Snowboard Day.
