The employee “Joining” action is use to hire an employee in IITR. This employee could be a

regular or temporary or on contract. The process flow followed for the Hiring is as depicted

Joining Action for an Employee

In “Personnel Action” screen (PA40 screen), specify action to be done as shown in image.Input all

data required on screen are shown in the table.

From M Start date when employee is hired (dd.mm.yyyy).

Action Type M

Complex activities (for examplejoing of personnel) are executed

using an personnel action lead by the system. An action is a

series of infotypes (infogroup) which are set in the system and

processed consecutively.

In the table M describes Mandatory fields, O describes Optional fields, C describes control fields.

Personnel will be generated Externally / Internally in the production system.

A pay scale group is a criterion used for grading job evaluation. A pay

M Select the wage type you want to deduct or pay to an

employee for particular period, by clicking search

Create Additional Payments (0015) Info type

Multiple records can be created using transaction PA30 and by selecting Infotype ‘Additional

Payments’ and create.

By specifying a wage type in the Additional Payments (0015)

infotype, we can store an amount and/or a value and a unit of

measurement that should be paid or deducted in a certain period

by Payroll. For e.g. If we want to pay for any cash award to an

employee in a particular month. Only one time payments will be

included in IT 0015.

-> enter the data for the record and click to save.
