Program Office Reviewer Role This role is a modification of the original Line Office Reviewer Role.
Users who need to review awards for all program offices within a line office will be given a “Program Office Reviewer” role for each Program Office in the Line Office.
The Program Office Reviewer role is not needed for a user who already as a role of Federal Program Officer in the same Program Office.
Attachments on Provisional Orgs Attachments can now be added to a new “provisional” organization
that is created during “Conduct Negotiations”. Note: Once the application is locked, no further attachments can be added to the provisional organization by the FPO. The Grants Specialist can add attachments when doing their review (via the GMD Checklist).

APPLICATION TAB
New OLIA/OLA mandatory tasks – Grants Specialist must forward Award File to OLIA/OLA for clearance if threshold amounts are met. Current threshold is $1M for both OLIA and OLA, current time is 48 hours until automatic release for actions without a “hold”.
Minimum Requirements Check – Applications are now unlocked and can be edited just like “Conduct Negotiations” task.
Deleting Attachments – Attachments cannot be deleted from Applications page; use care when uploading attachments for paper applications. Help Desk ticket will be needed for removal. Attachments sent via Grants.gov will not be removed.

When a Grants Officer approves an award (new or amendment) the notification to the Federal Program Officer includes the following language:
“This notification is for internal use only. The recipient should not be notified until all CBS, ASAP, and Finance Office tasks are complete and the recipient has the task in their inbox (or until the Mail Award task is complete for non-electronic recipients).”
