Press Credentials: Direct all inquiries to Tim Tessalone, Sports Information Director, USC Heritage Hall Room 103, Los Angeles, California 90089-0601, (213) 740-8480. Information about radio and television broad-casting rights can also be obtained from Tessalone. Media credentials for USC home men’s basketball games will not be mailed in advance (if requested, parking passes can be mailed). Instead, credentials will be available for pick-up on game days at the Galen Center media entrance (located on the Flower Street side of the arena), generally 2 hours before tipoff. Credentials will be issued on a game-by-game basis (there are no season passes). Credentials must be requested prior to each game (requests will NOT roll over to the following game). Credential requests must be received by noon 2 days prior to each game, so that the USC sports information offi ce can work with USC’s Offi ce of Athletic Compliance to review and approve requests. The online credential request form covers NCAA compliance issues. To request a credential, contact David Tuttle in the Sports Information offi ce and he will provide you with the credential application link. Credentials are non-transferrable. A valid identifi cation that matches the submitted name must be shown and credentials must be picked up in person. At the Galen Center media entrance, media must sign an acknowledgement of the com-pleted online waiver prior to being issued a credential.

Telephones: Contact ITS at (213) 821-0687 to order phone service at the Galen Center.

Galen Center: The Galen Center (3400 South Figueroa Street) is located approximately 15 miles from Los Angeles International Airport (adjacent to the USC campus). Directions: take Century Blvd. east to I-405 north; exit to I-10 east (toward Los Angeles) to I-110 South; exit Adams Blvd. and turn right onto Figueroa St.; go one mile and the Galen Center will be on your left. Or take I-405 south to I-105 (toward Norwalk) east to I-110 north (toward Pasadena/Los Angeles) and exit at King Blvd.

Media Parking: Media parking is available in Parking Structure 2, next to the Radisson Hotel. The entrance is off Figueroa Street.

Media Will Call: “Media Will Call” for Trojan basketball games is located at the southeast entrance of Galen Center, located off Flower Street.

Post-Game Interviews: USC’s post-game locker room will be closed, including to the media, in order to comply with NCAA rules that prohibit impermissible contact with recruits. Head coach Kevin O’Neill and several players will be brought to the post-game interview room. Additional media

interviews will be conducted in the area outside the post-game interview room as coaches and players exit the locker room hallway. USC’s sports information staff will work with the media to expedite this process.

USC Practices: Men’s basketball practices at USC are required to be closed to the public, per NCAA sanctions, but pre-approved media are allowed to attend. To ensure that USC and its Offi ce of Athletic Compliance know which individuals are coming into the presence of our players, media wishing to attend a USC men’s basketball practice must complete a one-time online waiver no later than 2 p.m. on Monday of the week of the fi rst planned visit (contact David Tuttle in the Sports Information offi ce for the link) in order to allow the Offi ce of Athletic Compliance time to review and approve requests. Once approved, media must sign at the practice court entrance an acknowledgement of the completed online waiver. Also, once initially approved, media do not need to seek permission to attend subsequent practices, as names will remain on the approved list for the rest of the year. USC will practice at the Galen Center on the main fl oor or in the practice courts (call the USC sports information offi ce for daily practice schedule updates). Practices will be open to local and national media. Media must remain in a designated area of the practice court. USC coaches and players will be available to the media on the practice court immediately after all practices.

Player Interviews: All requests for player interviews should be directed to Dave Tuttle, Assistant Sports Information Director (213) 740-8480. Please make your requests at least 48 hours in advance. Media members may interview players after USC’s practice sessions or during a class break if possible. No interviews will be granted on the day of a game or prior to practice and under no circumstances are players available for interviews by calling them in their dorm rooms or apartments. Players are instructed not to grant any telephone or face-to-face interviews unless arrangements are made through the USC Sports Information Offi ce.

Coach Interviews: All requests for interviews with Kevin O’Neill and his staff should be directed to Dave Tuttle, Assistant Sports Information Director (213) 740-8480.

Game Services: All members of the working media will be supplied with a game program, statistics and pregame notes as well as complimentary food service. Final and halftime statistics will be furnished along with a play-by-play. USC will also supply post-game quotes from both head coaches (and players in the event of outstanding individual performances), in addition to post-game notes.

Brandon Granville begins his fi rst season as the color analyst on the USC men’s basketball broadcasts, after spending the past four seasons calling games for Fox Sports. Granville was a star point guard at USC from 1999-02 and still is the school all-time leader in assists and steals. He averaged 11.5 points and 6.3 assists in his four-year career and helped lead USC to the Elite Eight in 2001. As a senior, Granville was named

Pac-10 honorable mention and selected to the conference All-Tournament team. He also had a string of 34 consecutive free throws made. As a junior, he led the conference in assists with a 6.1 average which ranked 18th in the country. As a sophomore he set the USC record for assists in a single season with 248. He was also named honorable mention on the Pac-10 All-Freshman team. Granville also ranks second all-time by a Trojan in games played (124), minutes played (4,043) and three-point baskets made (218). Granville graduated from USC in 2002 with a degree in So-ciology and then graduated from the Loyola Law School in 2007 and works at the Granville Law Group in Beverly Hills, Calif.

Radio Color Commentary

Brandon Granville

Chris Fisher begins his third season of broadcasting USC men’s basketball games. The 26-year-old USC graduate spent four years broadcasting minor league baseball and also has called sporting events on USC’s website and campus radio station. Fisher was named as the radio play-by-play announcer for USC men’s basketball broadcasts on July 9, 2010, taking over for the late Rory Markas who called Tro-jan basketball games for 12 seasons.

“I am thrilled and thankful to continue to be a part of the Trojan Family,” said Fisher. “However, the unfortunate circumstances of how this position opened up are not forgotten as Rory Markas was a tremendous mentor and an even better person to me. This has been a humbling process and I am appreciative that USC has put its conviction in me.” Fisher teams with USC’s new color analyst Brandon Granville this season in calling the action on 710 ESPN Radio. The fi rst two seasons he teammed with Jim Hefner, a Trojan assistant coach in the 1960s and 1970s. Fisher spent three seasons as the play-by-play broadcaster for the Eugene (Ore.) Emeralds, a minor league affi liate of the San Diego Padres in the short-season Class A Northwest League. He spent 2008 calling the play-by-play for the Potomac Nation-als in Woodbridge, Va., an affi liate of the Washington Nationals. The Nationals won their division and league titles in the Class A Advanced Carolina League in 2008.

Chris Fisher will begin his third season of calling USC basketball on ESPN Radio 710
