USB3 Vision Camera

Vision Software (Algorithm/SDK)

The OCR (Optical Character Recognition) is a basic function in the MV system. It works best with clear paper or material, but for the curved surface, the difficulty will increase. IEI industrial camera together with partner software can not only recognize the text or image on flat surface like juice containers, moreover, it can even inspect curved surface like pudding containers. Below are the two examples.

OCR Inspection

In production assembly, the angle inspection needs to be performed on some products like coffee cup with hexagon cover in order to adjust the product to the correct position to assemble and produce precisely.

Angle1. Speed: 300 pictures per minute, camera x 22. Function: To perform position judgment and orientation

of complex-shaped products in the product line to ensure correct production.

Machine vision systems can accurately locate the position and orientation of the wafer, so when performing wafer alignment process, the wafer can be assembled properly. Moreover, when performing wafer bonding process, the upper wafer and the lower wafer can be bonded precisely. Machine vision solution is much more accurate and efficient than manual wafer positioning.
