National Day of Prayer will be held Thursday, May 5, 2016 at
noon at the Veterans Memorial.
The 12th Annual Apron Strings, Ties To the Past will be on
Mothers’ Day weekend (May 7) The Antique District will be
looking at the history of the apron from necessity to accessory,
and honoring those who wore them. The Antique District will
be lined with fabulous vintage aprons which will no doubt
bring back memories sure to warm our hearts. Along with
Apron Strings, Walker Manor will host its annual Mothers’ Day
Tea.

CHAMBER DIRECTORS will meet MONDAY, MAY 9, 2016 at
Noon. Directors, please be present. Important decisions will be

Old Time Feed now has live bait (minnows, gold fish, meal
worms, frozen shrimp, etc.) They also have a great selection
of hooks, weights, bobbers, stringers, and minnow buckets.
We want to welcome Kathy Cannon as Gladewater’s new
Main Street Manager. Kathy is a graduate of GHS and the
daughter of Margaret and Carel Wilhite.
