Urbanization is happening in all major cities of Pakistan, because of two main reasons that are rapid growth in population and migration of rural citizens to urban areas in search of jobs and education. And when people migrate to urban cities they don’t built anything but homes because their first need is to find a place to live and hence the need for housing is rapidly growing. But for so many reasons like economics, land prices, profit oriented housing schemes and so on the quality of new homes is far below the standards, even those citizen who can afford from 5 to 25 million rupees do end up in small, compacted, not ventilated and dark homes. These poor housing conditions leads to so many discomforts that seriously effects our mental and physical health which leads to poor living habits and non-productive lives. Nonproductive lives leads to slow economic, social and educational growth.
