Personal Statement

With the extensive experience and knowledge that I have gained in a vast number of fields [film, television, theatre and amusement parks in Australia and overseas], I would be an invaluable asset as a team member to any art department or professional and innovative organisation looking to fill a position.I am currently seeking full/part time employment within the industry. I have a proven track record in project work, recently supervising the installation of aquarium coral reefs and corals at Marine Life Park (S.E.A.) Singapore, a major tourist attraction on Sentosa Island. The project allowed me to demonstrate my professionalism, commitment and enthusiasm in ensuring the project satisfied client expectations. Despite the project providing many challenges due to language barriers, my responsibilities were completed on time and within budget.

Skills and Abilities

Knowledge of thematic industry: A broad understanding of the thematic industry and experience working on a variety of projects, from small themed residential jobs to theatre, feature films and large commercial projects.

Ability to work successfully as a member of a team: Team work is a key part of my current role, which involves working with a team of artists, organising and implementing work flow, ensuring completion of requested work program, as well as working with other contractors to ensure hand-over dates are adhered to.

Management skills:Health and safety takes priority in the workplace. I ensure proper P.P.E. is worn at all times and attend morning toolbox meetings to discuss safety procedures and avoidance of potential hazards.I have a proven ability to:- plan, co-ordinate and implement construction design.- provide direction to artists and workers to ensure high quality standards of contracted works are

met.- work within the boundaries of method statements in order to ensure works carried out and are in

accordance with documentation provided.- liaise, co-ordinate and schedule works programs with other contractors/sub-contractors to

ensure both parties can perform their duties without interruption or delays.
