MarkeTrak – Release 3

Release 3 was successfully migrated the weekend of December 13th

Stabilization period – Dec 13th thru Jan 19th

Since the Release 3 migration on December 13, 2008, MarkeTrak has experienced a drastic spike in the number of users concurrently logged into the application.  Steps were taken throughout the course of the week to mitigate the problems.

This is a good thing - it is highly recommended that the MarkeTrak tool is used to resolve issues.

ERCOT is updating their internal process related to Data Extract Variance LSE issues in January to improve their analysis of requests before they are passed on to the market for approval.

ERCOT will eliminate from LSE Variances the usage/727 Extract specific portions of the required fields (Profile Code, Rep Code, Status) and focus these issues on the Siebel Registration System Rep of Record portion of the Data Extract Variance.

ERCOT will use the normal MarkeTrak maintenance window beginning 7:00 PM Friday, January 23, 2009 through 12:00 AM Monday, January 26, 2009 to implement PR-70007_01 - MarkeTrak Enhancements, Release 4.

ACTION REQUIRED:  Market Participants who utilize MarkeTrak API will need to update their .wsdl and .xsd files for use after this Retail Release. 

SIR Number Issue User ImpactSIR 12107 Global_ID validation should be N/A for `Service Order -

650` and `Move Out with Meter Removal`Per MarkeTrak Task Force request: Global_ID validation to be removed (‘N/A’) for `Service Order - 650` and `Move Out with Meter Removal` sub types upon Submit.

SIR 12109 Need the functionality in MarkeTrak for the system to archive old (configurable date) issues to a separate table space.

Change history of issues which have been resolved will be archived off of active tables of MarkeTrak.  A timeline of 13 months after closure has been implemented per market suggestion.

SIR12127 The Assignee Owner field is not being cleared on some transitions as expected.

With the Assignee MP Owner corrected, the Owner in the state history will be correct and the Attention E-mail dialog will load the correct parties as well.

SIR Number IssuePR70007_01 Req 44 DEV LSE Analysis Automation. No impact to market

users. ERCOT users may see a reduction in the amount of DEV LSE issues to be worked manually.
