Spiritual Communion Prayer Oh Jesus, I turn toward the holy
tabernacle where You live hidden for love of me. I love you, O my God. I
cannot receive you in Holy Communion. Come, nevertheless, and visit me with Your grace. Come spiritually into my
heart. Purify it. Sanctify it. Render it like unto Your own. Amen.
Lord, I am not worthy that Thou shouldst enter under my roof, but only
say the word and my soul shall be healed. Amen
Daily Mass is Available everyday at

Update on Public Masses
Short Answer: We will not be having Masses this weekend
Longer Answer: Bishop Sis has sent to the Parishes a rather substantial list of
requirements that need to be in place before he will allow a parish to have public Masses. We are attempting to pull together the resources and the training required, but supplies of masks, gloves, disinfectants,
and other necessities are already scarce. Please be patient as we seek to be obedient to our Bishop and cautious in our approach to have Mass where all will be the safest and healthiest that we can
make it.
Thank you for your understanding and patience during these challenging times.
Yours in Christ. Fr. Rodney White
Oración de comunión espiritual "Oh Jesús, me dirijo hacia el sagrado tabernáculo donde vives escondido por amor a mí. Te amo Dios mío No
puedo recibirte en la Sagrada Comunión. Ven, sin embargo, y
visítame con Tu gracia. Ven espiritualmente a mi corazón.
Purifícalo. Santifícalo. Hazlo como a los tuyos. Amén. Señor, no soy digno de que entres bajo mi techo, sino que solo digas la palabra y mi alma será
sanada.
Misa diaria está disponible todos los días en at 1pm

Mass Intentions For the week of May 3rd, 2020
Prayer for Someone Suffering with the Coronavirus You shall not fear the terror of the night
nor the arrow that flies by day, nor the pestilence that roams in darkness,
nor the plague that ravages at noon. Ps 91:5-6
Merciful God, hear our fervent prayer for all who suffer from the coronavirus.
May those who are infected receive the proper treatment and the comfort of your healing presence.
May their caregivers, families and neighbors be shielded from the onslaught of the virus.
Give solace to those who grieve the loss of loved ones. Protect and guide those who strive to find a cure,
that their work may conquer the disease and restore communities to wholeness and health.
Help us to rise above fear. We ask all this through the intercession of Our Lady of Lourdes,
and in the name of your Son, Jesus, and the Holy Spirit, now and forever. Amen.
St. Stephen's parish is a caring faith community. You are invited to contribute your intentions so
that we may all join in lifting them in prayer, please visit our
website to submit a prayer request.

1 Timothy 4:12 Eternal God, I know that as a young person, many of the elder generations may
look down on me, but I declare that I will not let anyone look down on me because I am young, but I will set an example for the believers in speech, in
conduct, in love, in faith, and in purity. Father, may You be glorified in my life so that those of all ages will see You when they look at me, Amen.
We invite everyone to Pray the Rosary from your home every Monday at 7:30pm. With the COVID-19 going on we are supposed to be practicing social distancing but that doesn't mean you can’t continue to Pray the Rosary where ever you are.

HELPING HANDS THRIFT STORE HAS REOPENED …but not without modifications as to how we do business. We will still be open on Tuesdays and Saturdays from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m. We are limiting our store to 80
customers at a time, and we insist that everyone MUST WEAR A MASK. Shoppers will enter our store on the east side of the building and they will exit on
the south side (front) of the store. People who appear to be ill will not be allowed in the store, and we will do our best to enforce social distancing guidelines of keeping people 6 feet apart. We want the reopening of Texas to be successful, and to do so
everyone must do their part to prevent the spread of COVID-19.
DONATIONS OF MERCHANDISE AGAIN BEING ACCEPTED With the reopening of our store we have space available to once again begin
accepting donations. Our trucks are back outside of St. Stephen’s (4601 Neely) and donations can be placed there, or they can be brought to our store at 1301
Brinson Lane, Monday through Saturday between 8 a.m. and 2 p.m.
MONETARY DONATIONS STILL URGENTLY NEEDED The people of Midland have been extremely generous in supporting us through these trying times, however with the devastating losses in the oil industry and
many others still not back at work the need for financial assistance is higher than it has ever been in our 21 years of existence. Checks to help our neighbors in need
can be sent to Helping Hands, 1301 Brinson Lane, Midland, TX 79703.
