AIM

The AFSTG, ARSTG and NASTG, in the field of air, land and maritime ETEE, are established to improve the coordination and standardization of ETEE in order to enhance interoperability among Alliance forces, and additionally between the forces of partners.

The AFSTG, ARSTG and NASTG act as a multinational group of air, land and maritime ETEE experts, responsible for NTG air, land and maritime ETEE aspects.

The Service TGs are comprised of:a.CM: a NATO Staff Officer with responsibilities in the particular topic area, who reports directly to the CM EWGNTG.b. Co-CM: elected amongst the national representatives. Subject to the duration of the project work, the Co-CM is normally elected for a period of 2 years.c. NATO and national (including partner) SMEs as required.d. When required, appropriate representation from NSA to ensure compliance with AAP-3.

REPORT

The AFSTG, ARSTG and NASTG have to submit the Annual Report to the EWGNTG in a written form by the end of October of each year.The AFSTG, ARSTG and NASTG CMs report to the CM EWGNTG through the submission of minutes (Record of Proceedings) after each meeting, proposals for new TGs and making proposals for new mandates.
