Upcoming Meeting

ADMINISTRATIVE BOARD

The PUMC Administrative Board will have its quarterlymeeting on May 14, at 6 p.m. in the Fellowship Hall.

The following motion passed unanimously at the JointCommittee Meeting held with the Finance, Building andCapital Campaign Committees on Monday, April 29,2019: We enthusiastically recommend that the AdministrativeBoard authorize:

the Building Committee to instruct our architectsto complete the detailed drawings necessary forParrish Construction to project a guaranteedprice for construction; and further.

the Finance Committee develop financing optionsfor the project based on the best data availableprior to reporting back to the AdministrativeBoard this Fall; and further.

the Capital Funds Committee re-engage thecongregation on the first phase of the capitalcampaign and prepare for a second campaign toimmediately follow in spring 2020.

All Board members are urged to protect May 14 for themeeting. Of course, this is an open meeting and anyinterested persons are welcome to attend.

Youth First Sunday Event This Sunday, May 5 at the Youth Center 6 P.M. to 7:30 P.M. $5 per person

We are having a Cinco de Mayo Fiesta! Bring a friend and join us in the Youth Center for fun, games, anda delicious catered meal from Barberitos SouthwesternGrille.

J.O.Y. Choir Spring Concert The J.O.Y. Choir made final preparations for their springmusical "A Time to Remember". They will be presentingthis musical Sunday, May 5 at 5 p.m. in the FellowshipHall.

Peanut Butter and Jelly Donations

We collect peanut butter and jelly the first Sunday ofevery month for the Loaves and Fishes Food Bank.These donations help feed many hungry families here inPerry.

All donations can be dropped off in the baskets at the

end of the hallway by the Fellowship Hall.

Prime Time West Georgia Day TripFriday, May 31

Come with us on a spring escape to beautiful west Georgia. Buses depart at 9:00 a.m. We are traveling toPine Mountain where we will enjoy some shops and eatlunch at the Kitchen at Rose Cottage.

After lunch we depart for an afternoon at Hills and DalesEstate and enjoy the beautiful gardens and manor builtby Fuller and Ida Cason Callaway of Callaway Gardens.We will return to the church before 6:30pm that evening.

Please bring $25.00 per person to the church officeno later than 4:30pm Thursday, May 9. Limit oftwenty-four passengers on the buses.

Children's Camp Registration

Registration is open for children's camp at CampKulaqua in Florida. "The Greatest Show" will be held June 24-28, 2019. Children who have completed 3rd - 5th grade are invitedto attend.

Youth Bible Study

Fifty youth gathered this evening for Bible study andfellowship in our Youth Center. Thanks to the counselorswho have been leading and investing in our youth.

Prime Time

Our Primetimers went on a trip to the Candler FieldMuseum and the Peach State Aerodrome on April 25. They finished off the trip with a lunch at BarnstormersGrill.
