At Augsburg, he is a senior Mathematics and Business Management double major and an MIS minor, currently undecided about whether he would like to pursue an industrial career or go to graduate school. He is also an officer of the mathematics club, Unbounded. Last summer Tony worked on an URGO summer research project under the guidance of Prof. Gilsdorf. The research topic was the effect of prize money distribution on the effort and performance of professional alpine skiers. Tony's favorite math class was Discrete Mathematical Structures because, as he says, “It was fun.” Outside of school, Tony loves to play basketball with his friends during his free time, and he also enjoys looking at investments in the stock market. In the past, he also served as a mentor to international students. Way to go, Tony! PROBLEM OF THE WEEK #5: POTW #4 (submitted/correct/partially correct/winner): 2/2/0/Cory Haight-Nali
