DISTRIBUTION LOGO

• The Distributor is the logo of a company which gets the film out into the cinema or dvd and helps promote it. These are some examples of distributors:

CAST

After the company logos it is very likely for the main actors and actresses titles to come onto the screen. The cast members come onto screen depending on their priority in the film so the most important characters actors or actresses name is usually shown first, which contrasts to the order of the crew, and then next would be the second most important, this also depends on which character has the most screen time.

In 'The Sixth Sense' Bruce Willis name is shown first as his character is the most important and has the most screen time.

In 'Juno' Ellen Pages name is presented first as her character has the most importance in the film.

For example, in panic room Jodie Fosters name appears first as her character has the most importance in the film.

In 'Forest Gump' Tom Hanks name is presented first as he plays the main character in the film.

CREW

The names of the crew are presented from least important to most important. Therefore, the typical order of the crew members is: casting by, costume designer, music by, edited by, production designer, director of photography, executive producer, produced by, written by, directed by.

For example, in 'Panic room' the directors name is presented last.

In 'Forest Gump' the name of the person who did the casting is one of the first crew names shown.

In 'The Sixth Sense' the directors name is presented last.

In 'Juno' the name of the costume designer is shown one of the first.
