• At a recent Congressional session nearly 15,000 bills were proposed, but less than 6% of those were passed into laws.

Link to Brain Cancer

• Congress is being urged to look into and possibly take action on the thought of cell phones possibly being a link to brain cancer. The same kind of link that smoking has to lung cancer.

Tax Cut

• Recently, a $787 billion stimulus bill was passed in an effort rush government spending in order cut taxes to help with the recession that is currently taking place.

Steroid Use

• Congress is now taking interest in baseball and discussing the fact and problem of professional baseball players using illegal steroids.
