• the roads to be rehabilitated classified into:
• Israeli proposal to USAID • Under construction USAID• Under construction – other international
bodies• Israeli proposed
• Most will be built on an existing secondary roads
• Aim – to improve the contiguity between the Palestinian areas
Key Issues
• Approximate length of roads to be rehabilitated - 500km -
• 18 Tunnel Passages estimated $3 - 4.5 million each
Key findings
New roads and tunnels will result in a separate Palestinian and Israeli road network
