I N T RO D U C TI O N : The First object of a Hospital is the care of the patient, where the
fundamental objective of University Library is serve the users
Our Library has excellent infrastructure that can cater to the needs of
different kind of students. The Library was established in the year 1968
and since than it has made rapid progress is developing its infrastructure
and increasing the collection of books. Total carpet area of the Library is
28000 Sq. Feet. Seating capacity of the Library is 110.
The library is being computerized with SOUL 2.0 software. It is
connected to INFLIBNET

periodicals. Each book must be returned by the date stamped on the date label. Overdue item
are liable to a fine.
You are responsible for all books/periodicals issued to your identity card.
If an item you want is on loan you can request it by means if the hold services. The
library may ask you to return book/Periodical it they are required by another reader.
All students, faculty members, employees of the university and citizen are eligible for
membership of the library. The registered members are issued I-card to their corresponding

Since the last year the Library displays all the reading materials
purchased. Even it is published in the ‘Dakshinayan’ regularly. The books are
exhibited on the birth anniversaries of vivid great peoples. Moreover, the
students of developments and the different schools of are also invited to visit
the library. Mr. B. J. Ankuya helps to introduce the newly purchased book in
‘Dakshinayan’
