    Spring has sprung! Spring

is not just the time of tran-

    sition of the seasons from

    winter to spring, but also

    transitions within many

    lives. Students are transi-

    tioning to new goals, from

class to vacation, from one year to the next, and other

students are beginning the transition from college to

    life.

For Unity On Campus, we are supporting all of our stu-

dents through their own transitions while also guiding

them through their spiritual transitions. As the semes-

ter came to a close, we concluded the book study of “

Working With the Law” by Raymond Holliwell. Stu-

dents have applied, and continue to apply the principles

    learned from our spiritual studies.

At the close of the semester Unity On Campus has three

students graduating and making their way into the

world of work. We support their ventures and know

    that they are prospering.

As the students are making their transitions with the

spring season, Unity On Campus’ Board is doing so as

well; Spring has brought us a new board treasurer and

a new student representative. And we affirm we will

have a great school year beginning September, 2017.

Our Friends Reception, held April 2, 2017 not only to

honor and celebrate the student’s growth throughout

the year, but also to recognize all of our supporters who

help us continue and maintain this growth through do-

nations, affirmations, and prayers. We truly appreciate

all of you, including those who could not attend the

event. We would not be able to continue without your

    support. Thank You.

was set apart from the typical church; a community that welcomed spiritual growth and was welcoming and non-judgmental. She joined Unity On Campus (UOC) as secretary when she was approached by Reverend E, as she believed UOC was a great spiritual opportunity for students on the Eastern Michigan and University of Michigan cam-puses. It was also an extra bonus that Ms. Griffin (no relations to Rev. E) is an alumna from the University of Michigan. She felt that the campus, both campuses needed a community like Unity On Campus because the undergraduate college years are a crucial time for students. Seeing that students are opened and recep-tive to learning, taking the time to go and study, and use tools to face challenges, a spiritual community like Unity is a tool for students to face all of these challenges while continuing and maintaining spiritual growth.
