What is MSS in EmpowHR?

• Allows managers to:– initiate various personnel actions – view employee data – view the history of personnel actions

• “Work” an action by either:– Approving – sends action to next step in Workflow– Denying – cancels action in Workflow; action must be

reinitiated for it to be processed – Pushing Back – sends action to previous step in Back

Workflow• Receive an email notification after action is processed

by processing staff

* Actions do NOT need to go through every level of approval before getting to the HR Processor. Someone with the HR Reviewer 1 role may change the PAR Status to APV which sends it to the HR Processor.
