What is a coyote?

The coyote is a member of the dog family.

A small, wolf-like carnivorous animal native to western North America and found in many other regions of the continent.

1. The coyote has to be clever because it has to save itself from human being’s merciless hunting.

2. Cruel hunting of coyotes They are hunted for no proper reasons. People hunt coyote all the year round, in

the winter and in the summer. They are hunted by land and by air.

3. Coyotes’ clevernesscleverness and loyaltyloyalty shown in the events of trapping and hunting them. There are many stories of coyotes

outwitting hunters. Jump on automobiles and flat cars to escape

dogs. Successfully resist bombing. They chew off their legs to escape.

They are completely loyal to their families. The nursing mother would never endanger her

young. The father coyote acted as a decoy in order to

let his young to escape.

4. “Humane Coyote-Getter” It is actually a whole trap gun. It seems humane, for it only

poisons coyotes, not like the general way of killing them.

5. Protection of coyotes Many societies have been trying hard to

protect coyotes. President Nixon issued his Executive

Order to ban the use of most predator poisons on public land.

The Fund of Animals announced a reward of $500 for information which leads to the stopping of the hunting of coyotes.

One solution is to make a pet out of a coyote.
