All interventions shall aim to address disparities and
cover the most vulnerable groups. The geographical
coverage shall be nationwide, including the post-war
conflict region of Transnistria, with a focus on rural
areas.Population and Development Component
UNDAF Governance OutcomeAll interventions under this component shall aim at
consolidating national capacity at the central and local
levels.

MONITORING & EVALUATION
The UNDAF M & E Framework - reference document for tracking
programmes progress
Results-based monitoring and evaluation - in accordance with the
UNFPA procedures and guidelines.
Joint reviews and joint monitoring of activities with the Government, UN
Agencies, civil society
Stakeholders - actively involved in monitoring and evaluation throughout
the programme.
Reporting: periodic reports such as annual project reports, annual
Standard Progress Reports (SPR) per each component; reports ofassurance activities; Country Office Annual Report (COAR)
All monitoring and evaluation activities part of the AWPs.
Annual Work Plan Monitoring Tool completed by IP and submitted to
the PCM of the respective component and to the UNFPA Country
Office.
CPAP PTT and CPAP M&E Calendar used to ensure consistency of
follow-up
Regular audits of components implemented by programme partners -on an annual basis.
UNDAF Annual Review
The final evaluation of the programme (2010) - carried out with UNDAF
partners, to document best practices, achievements and lessons
learned and provide directions for the future.
