Chapter 1

The school bell has just rung. Finally, the end of the day. I shoved all of my

notes into my bookbag and scampered towards the door. I let some people

through the exit first, knowing that they were way taller than me and it would be

useless to fight through the crowd. I finally faced my worst fate of the day-- the

hallway. Huge, tall, pushy high schoolers scrambling through the halls. I spotted

some people tripping and falling, and I knew it was my time. I darted through the

crowd, trying to avoid any contact with the basketball players. I was like a bunny

in a buffalo stampede. I got stepped on, pushed, and shoved.

I fell down to the ground, all my notes and folders scattering across the floor.

I groaned and hurridly scooped them into my arms before anyone else stepped

on them. I tried to push myself back onto my feet, only to be pushed down again

by accident. I felt someone grab my hand. I looked up, and saw a gorgeous tall

brunette giggling at how short and helpless I was compared to the crowd. A smile

spread across my face. Finally, some light for my eyes.

"Kayla!" I shouted happily as she pulled me up to my feet. She smiled and shook her head at me. I know. I'm pathetic.

"C'mon, let's get out of here!" she said, dragging me behind her keeping a tighter grip on my hand. I was kind of glad she

never let go, or else I would've been on the ground again, unable to get up. We finally made it outside, and I took a deep

breath taking in all the fresh air I could.

"Thanks for that." I said sheepishly. She smiled and then lit up, as if she had just remembered something.

"I have something to tell you!" she said excitedly.

"What!" I said, mocking her enthusiasm. She rolled her eyes and took both of my hands.

"I won three One Direction tickets for the concert downtown next week!" she squealed, jumping up and down in the air. I

immediately started fangirling with her.

Kayla and me along with another friend, Madi, were the hugest directioners in the whole school. We talked nonstop about

them. We have lost a lot of friends because of it, but they weren't even true friends in the first place. We knew everything

about them. Everything. The only thing we didn't know was their phone numbers. We had One Direction notebooks that we

wrote in and passed to eachother during classes, and it was filled with fangirling evidence. It was crazy.

"How!" I screamed, demanding an answer. She was still fangirling, but so was I, so it took a while for a response.

"On the radio! I decided to take you and Madi with me! You wanna go??" She screamed.

"Heck yes! If I miss this concert I would die!" I squealed. I finally looked around, noticing that everyone was staring at us

because of our ridiculous fangirling. We didn't mind them though, we were having a friggin' lifechanging moment! We got to

"Okay, so we all go to the stadium 3 hours early, which is about five o'clock. Then we enjoy the concert, la di da di daa,

and then we go the meet and greet the next day. But we camp out in front of the place so that we don't miss our spots in line.

Once we meet them, Zayn will fall in love with me, and you and Madi will be the little girlfriend's sidekicks!" she rushed

through the words so quickly, I had to have her repeat it again slower. Once I got the message, I sighed.

"I wish. That only happens in fan fictions and 'imagine's. We are just going to be fans to them..." I said sadly. Kayla pouted

a bit, and then smirked.

"This should be fun. The ginger, the blonde, and the brunette go to a One Direction concert together."

I laughed at her.

"Can't wait for the punchline." I smirked

Kayla and I stopped by Madi's house. She was sick that day, and we wanted to tell her the news about the concert.

"Are you flacking kidding me??" she yelled after we told her. Her bright red hair was up in a bun, her height was almost

about as tall as the door, and her blue eyes were wide with surprise.

"No! We are dead serious! Will you come?" I said smiling.

"Totally!! What's the plan?" she replied.

Kayla explained to her the details. Kayla's mom will be at our houses to pick us up, and take us to the stadium, yada yada

yada, you know the rest. I jumped up and down in joy, I could not wait to see One Direction...but they could probably care

less to see me.

From the day I first met you, everything changed.I knew I had to get you, what ever the pain.
