Beach Residence
Individual work.Conceptual site located on a beach in Texas.
The project was focused on creating a single family residence in a beach environment.
Objective of design was to incorporate 20 by 20 foot planes in the building while concepts of using natural lighting and air ventilation were implemented.
The design centers around the separation of public and private spaces while attempting to create a transition of bringing outdoor space as an extension
of the interior. The private areas are split in two areas, one on the upper east side and the
other nestled into the hillside with views toward the ocean. The front entry way is in line with access to the outdoor terrace on the south
side creating a breezeway and allowing for outdoor airflow when weather permits.
