MEMORANDUM

Sub: Public Services - Promotion and posting of LowerDivision Clerks as Upper Division Clerks.

The Lower Division Clerks mentioned in the Annexure enclosed are

promoted as Upper Division Clerks on ad-hoc basis and posted in the

Departments / Offices noted against each with immediate effect.

2. They will draw pay in the pay band of Rs.5200-20200 with grade

pay of Rs.2400/- plus usual allowances as admissible under rules.

3. The officials are directed to report for duty on or before

28.02 . 2011 , failing which it is presumed that he/she has declined the

promotion offered to him/her and he/she will not be considered for promotion for

a period of one year or next DPC, whichever is later, from the date of receipt of

the promotion order.

4. The Heads of Departments/Offices concerned are requested to

relieve the officials without waiting for substitute and request for

retention/modification of promotion orders will not be entertained.
